This is fluxbox with The Lait theme from fluxmod.de, and wallpaper from themedepot.org. Icons for idesk are from tuxntosh theme.
Applications used in this screenshot
- Debian GNU/Linux : A power-user metadistribution
- FluxBox : A lightweight BlackBox-based window manager with many features.
- Root-Tail : A program that allows printing of text directly to the X11 root window wherever you choose.
- gDesklets : An advanced architecture for desktop applets -- tiny displays sitting on your desktop in a symbiotic relationship of eye candy and usefulness.
- iDesk : An application that gives users of minimal wm's (fluxbox, pekwm, windowmaker...) icons on their desktop.

Some desktop environments open a virtual root window and make it difficult to share it. If you cannot see anything after starting root-tail, try to find a setting "allow programs on desktop" or similar where is that?! |
